A Heartfelt Journey with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
My passion for giving back to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital began with an extraordinary little girl named Victoria. At just 8 years old, she faced challenges no child should ever endure, yet her courage and spirit left an indelible mark on my heart. In her honor, I started a Walk/Run Team “Team Victoria", rallying family, friends, and my Douglas Elliman colleagues to join me in making a difference.
What began as a team effort blossomed into something much greater. As my involvement grew, so did my responsibilities and impact. I had the privilege of serving as the St. Jude Walk/Run Chairperson for Miami, then Orlando, and now as a proud Ambassador for St. Jude. Through these roles, I’ve had the joy of leading incredible fundraising efforts that have raised over $500,000 to support the vital work of this remarkable institution.
As an Ambassador, I am honored to speak to groups of all sizes about the life-saving mission of St. Jude. The hospital’s founder, Danny Thomas, said it best: “Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It’s what you do for others.” These words inspire my journey, reminding me that every act of kindness can spark hope for families in need.
